The APMP is considered to be the benchmark project management qualification throughout the profession and it is the most popular. Our current calendar has between 4 and 5 courses being run each month.

It is however the course and exam that potential candidates tend to underestimate the most, particularly the amount of work that is needed to reach the standard required, remember it is a professional qualification!

You will receive, in advance of attending the five day course, a copy of the APM Body of Knowledge (BoK). Time invested in getting to know the BoK at this stage will be more than repaid during the course week.

More experienced project managers attending this course are often caught out by thinking that they know all this already, but be warned unless you have used a structured approach, involving the use of recognised tools and techniques - you may not yet have the depth needed.

Those candidates who already have the Introductory Certificate get on really well with APMP which is why we are giving APMP candidates this course free.

But having said all of the above you are provided with a great deal of support throughout what will be a three week period; firstly there is the five day course, where you will in effect manage a case study project from start to finish. Secondly there is a preparation day, about a week after the course, where you will be focused on exam technique and answering questions, remember you are expected to answer 10 questions in three hours - that's only 18 minutes per question. Thirdly between finishing the course and taking the exam you receive online and email support from the tutor.
